Tara's pursuing her love of solving problems and helping businesses to improve.

"Sound marketing and public relations advice are often expensive, misunderstood or inaccessible, particularly for small businesses. Timely support can help you gain the clarity and confidence you need to forge ahead.

Every business journey is unique, but a strong understanding of your business goals, industry and consumers helps deliver the right results."

- Tara Burke

Did you know over 400,000 small businesses exist in Queensland alone, but around 50% fail in the first four years of business?

Tara Burke Marketing strives to change that statistic through affordable tailored one-to-one advice, explicitly focusing on marketing and public relations.

Local research tells us people want to:

  • access business help when they need it

  • be shown how to do things

The key areas local businesses require help with are:

  • business strategy

  • attracting and retaining good employees

  • internal and external communication

  • customer engagement

  • social media

  • advertising

  • establishing a business idea

  • website design

The common theme running through each of these needs is marketing. When a business understands its industry, consumer needs and develops the right marketing strategy, it contributes significantly to its overall success. Above all, successful businesses support broader economic growth and create employment opportunities across Queensland and beyond.

Accessing expert knowledge at the right time empowers businesses to deliver their products and services in a way that attracts and retains employees, builds brands, engages consumers, and creates mutually beneficial relationships with stakeholders.

Developing the right marketing strategy is a vital ingredient in reducing small business failure.
